The project team, selected through a competition by the Municipality of Limassol in March 2026, brings together a diverse range of disciplines, forming an interdisciplinary group equipped to address the complexities of the contemporary public realm. Architects, landscape architects, engineers, and social designers collaborate closely with a network of specialized consultants to deliver a comprehensive design approach.

The team works in a complementary way, combining experience from large-scale international projects with a strong understanding of the local context. The project emphasizes local identity, history, and the unique characteristics of Limassol, viewing public space as a carrier of collective memory and everyday life.

Using a proven methodology applied in complex European urban projects, the team seeks to integrate the knowledge and insights of the city. The design process actively engages the local community—residents of Limassol who shape the city through their connection to and care for it—supporting their vision for a more vibrant urban environment.
